Itinerary

On day one, the track is from Kakeri village to Reoti. The track starts with beautiful pine forests that are lustrous green. You will see beautiful birds chirping. However, you should be careful as there are Pine needles, which can make the ground slippery. 

This is the place where you start your track after walking for a few minutes, you will reach the next step of the journey through a metal Road to Noli Bridge. This is a place where  there are a few shops, where food items and other essential things are available. 

Further in the journey, you will see beautiful small waterfalls and amazing views. The metal Bridge helps in crossing new Nala after which, the track goes back into the forest until it leads into a grassland on the bank of Nalah.

At this place, you will see beautiful birds and pastures and a number of shepherds. After that, in a few minutes of walking away you will be able to reach the Campsite. This campsite has beautiful breathtaking views of valleys and mountains, where you can stay overnight and enjoy the beautiful sky with stars and Bonfire and taste the delicious food with a lake side camping comfort.

On day two, from the morning you start from Reoti and walk a mostly paved pathway to Kareri lake. From Campsite it is about 1 hour away. Kareri Lake is the last stop, a few Rocky Road takes you to a small Shiva temple, which is visible from far away.

Conclusion

However, the lake on the other side of the mountain is Karari lake. This lake is Shallow Lake and the water is cold. The Dhauladhar range of mountains is on the other side of the Lake. Before heading back, try to absorb the beauty of the lake and start descending. When you reach the lake, you will be able to see the beautiful sight.
